Whatsapp To Introduce Free Calls From April 2014

WhatsApp Inc., the mobile messaging service <br>that agreed to be acquired last 2 weeks by <br>Facebook Inc. for $19 billion, said Monday that it <br>would offer voice calling as early as April, <br>allowing free phone calls among WhatsApp's <br>465 million users. Jan Koum, the co-founder and <br>chief executive of WhatsApp, also said during a <br>speech at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona <br>that he is hoping to grow the service to one or <br>two billion users. Mr. Koum said that the <br>WhatsApp voice product would "focus on <br>simplicity" as it has with its text-based <br>messaging service. He said that WhatsApp <br>would first release a version of the voice service <br>for Apple Inc.'s, iPhone and Google Inc.'s <br>Android platforms, followed by services for <br>Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Phone, as well as <br>some phones by BlackBerry Ltd. and Nokia Corp. <br>"We want to continue to have that minimalistic <br>approach to the product," he said. "We at <br>WhatsApp want to get out of the way and let <br>people communicate." Mr. Koum added that the <br>voice product would "use the least amount of <br>bandwidth, and we optimize the hell out of it." <br>Speaking about the Facebook acquisition <br>announcement earlier this month, Mr. Koum said <br>that the product wouldn't change, stressing that <br>WhatsApp would remain independent. How To Reset Your Andriod Phone – 2 Working Options

If you’re at your wit’s end with your phone, screaming at it when it takes 10 minutes to start an app, it may be time for a factory reset. A factory reset will erase all of your phone’s data and restore it to the settings that it came with out of the box. Before you throw your phone in the trash, check out this guide. Method One: Resetting A Working Device 1. Open your device’s Settings. The Settings app can have varying icons depending upon on your specific device, and may be also be found within the App Tray or by pushing 2. The phone’s dedicated menu button. Find your Factory Reset option. Depending on your device, the “ Factory data reset” feature may be located in one of two sections within the Settings app: Select the “Privacy” settings, and scroll down to “Factory Reset” OR Select the “Backup and Reset” settings, and scroll down to “Factory Reset” 3. Tap “Reset Device” to delete all data and restore your device’s factory settings. The accounts that you are signed into will be displayed on the screen. By default, all of your phone’s internal storage will be wiped. Note:- If you want to erase all of the data on your phone’s SD card as well, check the box at the bottom of the screen. 4. Confirm the process by selecting “Erase Everything“. This will delete all data and restore back to your device’s factory settings. Android 4.4 KitKat now seeding to Korean LG G2

We have some good news for the <a href="http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_g2-5543.php">LG G2</a> users. The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Korean unit has been finalized and is already seeding to the the smartphone in its home market. If you live in Korea and you own an LG G2, the new firmware is already waiting for you to get it. You just need to use the official LG Update Tool on your computer instead of the over-the-air service on your phone.<br /> In the beginning of November we also saw a leaked roadmap of the French carrier SFR. It showed us the SFR users with LG G2 will be getting Android KitKat in November or December this year. There is still nothing official though, but December is upon us, so we guess the SFR G2 owners will get to experience the latest Android build soon enough.<br /> Finally, the guys over <i>Mobile Syrup</i> have received some interesting info straight from LG Canada.
